Marion Gray
Role: Reader Member CRC Executive and Chair CRC Editorial Committee (from April 2011)
Marion is a Reader at Immanuel & St Andrew, Streatham in south London. She was licensed in 2002, joining her husband David who was licensed in 1979.

After about thirty years as an IT professional Marion gave up the day job in 1994 to study theology at King’s College London. For some years after that she combined study with part-time IT consultancy but eventually the demands of studying took over. She now has an MA and a PhD in systematic theology with a particular interest in the relationship between God and time, and harbours ambitions to write a book on the subject.

Since 2006 Marion has been Director of Reader Selection in Southwark Diocese and is a tutor on their Reader training course, teaching the History of Christian Mission, Doctrine and the History of Anglicanism.

In her spare time Marion shares an interest in photography with David. They also enjoy going to concerts and visiting art galleries (all too infrequently, sadly). Marion is an avid reader and fanatical sports follower. Her musical tastes include Bach, Mozart, and many other Baroque composers as well as Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones and others of that ilk.
