Reader Ministry in the Church of England

The heavens tell of the glory of God. And the skies announce what his hands have made.

All about Reader Ministry

40 Years of Women Readers ....

On the 9th May 1969, women were first admitted as Readers. Many dioceses and parishes are planning events to celebrate this anniversary. A Service to Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Admission of Women as Readers is a collation of material that could be used.

The CRC AGM was held over the weekend of 24th to 26th April 2009 in the Campanile Hotel, Bradford. Jane Robertson (Lincoln) has supplied a short report  - photographs are also on this website.
